Bus Tie Breakers

BTBs are automatic switches and open or close depending on the aircraft’s power configuration. They are controlled by the BUS TRANS switch located on the overhead.

With the switches in AUTO, should a source powering the relevant AC Transfer Bus fail, the source powering the opposite transfer bus automatically picks up the unpowered bus.
